Hearing Tests
At Focus Hearing our adult hearing tests are detailed and include a consultation, inner and middle ear examination, and QuickSIN speech-in-noise testing. This is more detailed than the ‘free’ screening tests offered by some other hearing centres. Child hearing tests are available at our Crows Nest clinic.
Hearing Aids
Here at Focus Hearing Erina, we are an independent hearing healthcare clinic. This means we are not affiliated with or owned by a specific hearing aid brand. Because of this independence, we can give you a large selection and choice of hearing aids, which means you can choose between the technology, style, manufacturers, and features you want.
Ear Wax Removal – Microsuction
Microsuction is the preferred type of earwax removal for ear specialists (ENTs) and audiologists due to its effectiveness and safety record. It uses a light suction to remove the wax from the ear canal with no messy liquids (unlike ear syringing) or pain.
Tinnitus
People who have ringing in the ears (tinnitus) understandably want an answer to the question, “Is there a cure?” Well, that depends on the cause of their tinnitus. At Focus Hearing, we first see what can be done about your problem with a full tinnitus assessment. Free 2-hour street parking is available directly in front of the clinic on Central Coast Highway.
Please note that we share our premises with a chiropractic clinic called ‘The Balance Centre.’ Therefore, you may see their signage before ours.
